Randall Hayes updated the budget. Coach Darnell says hats for summer teams have been ordered and 6 summer tournaments have been paid for. A total of 10 tournaments is the goal to be played this summer for the 13u team. Discussion on fundraising ideas, a lot of that can involve parents as well to help with cost for families. An amount of $650 will be due on March 1 for the 13u team. $750 for high school aged players. High School teams 16u and 18u will play in 7 tournaments, all in the same locations.

-Fundraising for Webb City summer baseball: We will need to collect the money soon, Coach Darnell will talk to the players in a Zoom meeting this week and money needs to be turned in anytime from now until the end of our first summer tournament. As a reminder the fee for players is $750. For every fundraising card that a player sold, $10 is taken off that fee. There are a few kids who are pitchers only that will only be asked to pay $600. -Scheduling for summer ball, we plan to play in a tournament for 16u & 18u teams every weekend from June through July. Traveling to Kansas City & St. Louis is still up in the air because of the virus but there will be tournaments locally that we will have the opportunity to play in. Also 16u and 18u teams will play in a pitching machine 8-on-8 league against other local teams for 5 weeks through the month of July. -Uniforms are ordered and are currently at the printers. We will have 2 jerseys and should be ready soon. Hats are already in and we will get those out soon. -The 13u team will be playing from Memorial Day weekend in various weekends through July. -Still not sure on practice opportunities at the high school field, more information should become available on that soon. It's very likely that teams will get very little practice time before beginning play in tournaments. -We appreciate everyone being patient in this process of working through plans for summer baseball and the ever changing news and updates on COVID-19.
